Day 1Arrival in Colombo — Headquarters by W15
Upon arrival at BIA, your driver meets you and transfers to Colombo. Your evening begins at Headquarters by W15 — located in the heart of Colombo's most spirited neighbourhood — for dinner at the rooftop restaurant and bar, with panoramic city views and a menu that celebrates Sri Lankan street food flavours elevated with contemporary technique.
Day 2Colombo to Hanthana Estate
After an early breakfast, transfer to Hanthana — a beautifully restored British Empire bungalow set in the salubrious hill-country climes above Kandy. En route, stop for blessings at the Kandy Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Check in to W15 Hanthana Estate — your private highland sanctuary with sweeping mountain views, an infinity pool, and a classic colonial atmosphere.
Day 3Hanthana — Activities & Relaxation
A full day at W15 Hanthana to explore at your own pace. Choose from guided hikes through the Hanthana Mountain Range with endemic bird watching, e-biking through tea estates, morning meditation in the garden, an Indiana Jones-style discovery walk, high tea on the sun-drenched lawn, croquet on the grass, or a personal spa session. Day 4Transfer to W15 Ambuluwawa — Gampola
Transfer to W15 Ambuluwawa near Gampola — another remarkable W15 property set in the highlands above the Ambuluwawa Forest Reserve. Visit Ambuluwawa Tower — a breathtaking spiral tower offering a thrilling climb and extraordinary panoramic views over the surrounding highlands. Day 5Gampola — Nature, Swing & Al Fresco Dining
A second full day at W15 Ambuluwawa with its extraordinary collection of activities: bird watching along forest trails, nature walks, the Ambuluwawa Adventure Park, a serene paddle boat ride on Ambuluwawa Lake, the exhilarating Ambuluwawa Swing over the valley, star-gazing from the terrace on clear nights, and Italian al fresco dining in the garden for dinner.
Day 6Gampola to Nuwara Eliya
Morning transfer into the cool highlands of Nuwara Eliya — Sri Lanka's 'Little England.' Stop at the spectacular Ramboda Waterfall for photographs, then visit a working tea factory and plantation to watch the entire tea-making process and sample freshly made Ceylon tea. Explore Nuwara Eliya on bicycle or foot: the old post office, Victoria Park, the racecourse, and the colourful Bale Bazaar.
Day 7Nuwara Eliya — Pedro Estate & Highland Hike
A guided picnic at Pedro Tea Estate — one of Nuwara Eliya's finest historic plantations. Take a hike to Single Tree Mountain for panoramic highland views. Explore the dense Galway National Park — a protected montane cloud forest reserve at the edge of the town. Afternoon paddle-boarding or jet-skiing on Gregory Lake.
Day 8Scenic Train to Ella, then Weligama
Board the highland train from Nanu Oya for the celebrated journey to Demodara station near Ella, crossing the magnificent Nine Arch Bridge — an engineering marvel framed by jungle and tea estates. Visit the bridge on foot before transferring south to W15 Weligama — the tour's sun-soaked final chapter, with beachside villa living, wood-fire pizza, and the crashing Indian Ocean within steps.
Day 9Weligama — Beach, Surf & Southern Discoveries
A full day at W15 Weligama and the surrounding south coast. Choose from surfing lessons in Weligama Bay (one of Sri Lanka's finest learner breaks), a whale and dolphin watching trip from Mirissa, a visit to the Sea Turtle Conservation Centre, exploring the Galle Fort, or a tour of the Cinnamon Island, Rubber Factory, and Gem and Jewellery Factory. Day 10Weligama to Bandaranaike International Airport
